FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WORKSHOPS

1)‍ ‍What educational opportunities do you offer?

I teach weaving focused workshops, seminars and lectures for weaving conferences, guilds, schools, or groups of interested weavers.

2) What makes your workshops unique?

I teach workshops to pay forward what my teachers taught me, while sharing my experience and personal discoveries with weavers who want to advance their own knowledge. Workshops are thorough and well organized, a result of my in-depth research of the subject and my training as a writer. Thorough, detailed handouts help aid learning.

3) What makes your teaching unique?

My goal is to meet weavers where they are and give them tools that inspire them to experiment on their own so they can push the concepts, and their weaving knowledge even further. I explain things slowly and clearly, including hands-on exercises or sample weaving that allows participants time to practice - and process - the information shared. I’m also a good listener.

4) How do I take a Weaving or Sewing Handwoven Fabrics workshop?

For a listing of upcoming teaching engagements see my SCHEDULE. Contact the hosting organization for registration information. If you are interested in having me teach a workshop for your organization, please CONTACT ME.

5) How can I contact you?

You can reach me via my CONTACT PAGE. I aim to respond quickly - usually within one to two business days.
