1)‍ ‍What products & services do you offer?

I weave fabric for garments, fashion accessories, and wall decor for exhibition or on a commission basis. I teach beginning to advanced weaving workshops, seminars and lectures for conferences, guilds, craft schools, and weaving groups. I write about weaving and weavers for weaving publications. A book is coming soon.

2) What makes your handwoven fabrics unique?

My one-of-a-kind fabrics combine intricate structural interlacements with a carefully curated mix of fibers and colors to create cloth that feels as luxurious as it looks and suits the purpose intended.

3) What makes your workshops unique?

I teach workshops to pay forward what my teachers taught me while sharing my personal discoveries and experimentation with weavers who want to advance their own knowledge. Workshops are thorough and well organized, a result of my in-depth research of the subject and my training as a writer. Thorough, detailed handouts help aid learning. I always try to meet students where they are in their weaving development.

5) How do I take a Weaving or Designing Handwoven Fabrics workshop?

6) Do you teach private lessons, and if so where?

Occasionally, when they can be scheduled at mutually agreeable times. Most of the time they are in my Western North Carolina studio. For more information CONTACT ME.

7) Do you sell your weaving drafts or kits?

No. However, I designed and wove a scarf in collaboration with Treenway Silks that is offered as a kit in the company’s “65 Roses” series that benefits ALS research. Or take a weaving workshop with me. Drafts are generally included!

8) Have you published any books?

One is currently in the works. Check back for details and a projected release date. In the meantime, look for articles I’ve written for leading weaving publications.
